Happy New Year 2009! Welcome to our new site and a great start to the year!
January is full of things new and we are happy to welcome Dr Cole Henley to our team as Web Design Manager. Cole will be taking over the main project management role in the web design team, with Roan working on a part-time basis to help with key clients while his SaaS venture, FreeAgent Central, takes off.
The design team has been extremely busy creating new sites for National Microelectonics Association, Prometic BioScience plc, Scotland for Golf and the Scottish Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering & Technology (Napier University) as well as a quick site build for our colleague, Andrew Allfrey, at Conversion Metrixs.
Just coming off the boards is recent development work on the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle site, more dev work for The School of Maths (Edinburgh University), web application and Sharepoint development consultancy for the Faculty of Advocates, a database and dynamic PDF generator project for Alzheimer Scotland, and a new intranet for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Students in our Cisco Academy returned this week and are back in action preparing to sit their 604-822 ICND 1 and Composite 64802 CCNA exams. Peter has been busy in the Cisco lab right through Christmas and New Year with lots of extra study and prep going on - good luck to everyone in the coming weeks!
Ian and Brian have spun their MODx magic throughout our new site making it easy to get up-to-date information on all our professional training courses. We have included a raft of MS Office courses along with our web applications /technologies training - most of them now eligible for ILAs. Next on the schedule will be some intensive, e-commerce courses for online entrepreneurs and those seeking to start new careers in IT.
Lastly many thanks to Hugh Dodd (yes, related) who created all the wonderful drawings and illustrations used throughout the site - we think they look great!
Wishing you all a happy and successful new year!
