An award winning content creation company who provide a comprehensive suite of communication services for their clients who combine creative skills with in-depth technical knowledge to deliver engaging content across a range of media require a team leader developer to work in Central Glasgow

Technical skills: you should have a minimum of 5 years + commercial experience with expertise in Rich Internet Application development. Ideally you will have an understanding or working knowledge of Ruby On Rails/Ajax/Actionscript, with a strong background in Java or PHP development. Exposure to Internet technologies, Flex and SQL would be advantageous.

The challenge – You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining bespoke and tailored Web applications against technical specifications that consistently exceed agreed quality standards.

The role will involve working at all stages of the project life cycle, and direct interaction with clients. You will be working on projects for a wide variety of clients, using a range of different programming languages this will allow you to not only strengthen your skills, but to get exposure to a wide range of new technologies. You will also be responsible of the delegation of project work to other employees.

The person – You must be a quick learner, analytical and have strong problem solving skills. The ability to prioritise, multi-task and use agile processes is essential. You will also have great communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be persistent, determined and thorough in delivering the highest quality of work. They are looking for a Problem Solver with strong Leadership skills.
