Farewell Stef!

So, we bid a fond farewell to our own Stefan Karpa this week. Stef’s moving on to pastures new, and we just want to all wish him the best for the future and his new job.

Stef was with us for roughly 2 years as our training manager, and he was a firm favourite with the students as the lead trainer on our old Graduate Internet Course. Never shy of giving the students a hard time when project deadlines loomed, he nonetheless put a huge amount of effort and care into the tutition he gave.

We sure he’ll do great in his new post, and personally I’ll miss the banter round the office. All the best mate!

A Project Invitation————-From Yakun Tang( Warwick Business School)

Dear Roan:

My name is Yakun Tang and I am an undergraduate student in Warwick Business School in UK. I am currently doing my final year computer and business studies and have chosen weblogs as my final project topic. More specifically, I am hoping to investigate and determine the reasons, conditions and key factors that make a business blog successful, and to create a list of criteria to help companies assess whether and how they should engage in blogging. In order to do this, I need to interview a number of business bloggers and wondering whether you could be willing to take part in the project. I would like to sample a cross-section of industries and, having studied your weblog and feel sure that you would be able to provide some valuable insights into the area of web design blogging. I am planning to carry out the interviews by e-mail or telephone sometime in February. It is also could be done by Skype. There will be a series of standardized questions in the interviews and it will not take a long time. Of course, you could have full access to the final paper and the usual undertakings regarding confidentiality/ anonymity would apply.

I do hope that you will be interested in participating and look forward to hearing from you
