An Educational Institution is currently recruiting for a Contractor. They require a Web Digital Development Officer to work from their Central Edinburgh Office. You would be working alongside existing internal web/digital development officer, to support the ongoing maintenance, development and migration of content to the new content management system.

You will have the following core skills:

2 years + software design and development experience

Essential Skills

XHTML/CSS /JavaScript FLASH (ActionScript 1.0 & 2.0)XMLASP.NET Experience in development and maintenance of CMSs Knowledge of building standards compliant websites / Cross browser compatibility

Website manager required in Edinburgh for an award winning and marketing leading company. Advanced skills in web design and e-commerce are required with knowledge of HTML, ASP, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, XML, Flash etc needed to a high level. Also Search Engine Optimisation and Pay-per-click (PPC) would be useful along with other e-marketing and advanced website management skills.

You would take full “ownership” of the website and it`s assorted applications. The company is undergoing significant growth and the effectiveness and efficiency of it`s website and web development is core to that growth. You will have a small team of developers to work with and you will answer directly to the company Director. Regular reporting on traffic analysis and website effectiveness will be required and target setting is commonplace to measure performance.
