A skilled Web Developer is required to play a key part in the development of the University’s website.

Ideally you will be qualified to degree level in a computer science related degree, have a passion for coding and an extremely good knowledge of PHP along with its interaction with databases (MySQL and Oracle). A good understanding of CSS, Javascript, Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop is also essential, as is a willingness to learn new programming languages to implement and support strategic University web projects.

The post is full time, fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.

E-learning Programme Support Officer, University of Edinburgh
