Senior HTML Designer
£25K-£35K
Senior HTML Designer required for a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Soho London working with big brand names. Tesco, British Airways, Hewlett Packard, Boots are just a few of our clients. You are super creative, hands-on, talented, motivated, and a little (or a lot) geeky. You understand the importance of design and good clean HTML. You don’t shy away from hard work and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. And most important, you know how to have fun under pressure.
Senior Designer:
You can design in your sleep. Creating four concepts in four hours? Not a problem for you. Presenting to demanding clients? A piece of cake. Pulling together a creative review? Child’s play. Mucking around in HTML sound like fun? Absolutely, and you love it all. But you also want to take your career to the next level. You are interested in mastering the medium so you know where and when to push the boundaries. You want to cultivate a young, hungry creative team. You can train, you can manage, and you can balance on one foot. Well, maybe not the latter.
We are looking for someone who’s quick, detailed oriented and knows what it takes to produce effective online communication that looks good. It’s not just designing the piece – it is building it and making it work within the medium and our proprietary systems. You can work to deadlines, and you proactively solve problems and troubleshoot. As part of our creative team you will work closely with other members of the production and account teams to design, develop and implement a variety of HTML e-mail and web-based marketing deliverables. As a designer you will possess outstanding design fundamentals, such as type, color, layout and imagery creation/optimization, as well as HTML design skills for clean and efficient file deployment. An understanding of browser/email client compatibility issues would be beneficial.
You will ideally have a degree in graphic/web design and have relevant experience for the role. Agency experience is a plus. You will be well versed in HTML authoring, animation, illustration, presentation, and publishing applications (DreamWeaver, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Acrobat, Powerpoint, InDesign, etc.), as well as general business and communication software packages, on the PC platform.
You will have strong HTML/CSS skills. Familiarity with backend authoring tools, including data-base driven content management systems, a plus. Some familiarity with formatting HTML for email campaigns a plus. This is ‘not’ a position for programmers with limited design skills – we are looking for skilled designers with excellent HTML skills. Individuals should be mature, creative, and can work both independently, and as part of a growing creative and production team. Of course, a great attitude and sense of humour are a must. Candidates should be detail oriented and hard working, an exceptional work ethic with the ability to get things done in a fast-paced, multi-tasked work environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Apply!. And when you do, buy me a pint! :)
