PHP Developer

Kraya is looking for a highly competent Developer.

Kraya is a small company that does big things. As the company responsible for high profile websites like megabus.com and edfringe.com, there is no end to challenging projects to keep you busy.

At Kraya we like to work hard and play hard. You have to be able to work under pressure, be able to deliver good quality work, integrate with the team, and enjoy yourself at the same time. You will be part of a small crazy team of developers, none of whom would fit the stereotype of geek.

Main roles would include:
Rebuilding ticketing systems in 3 days
Building sites to run on multi (up to 20) server architectures
Making samurai helmets out of packaging materials

Also may include :
Liasing with clients
Managing CRFs
Writing proposals
Helping out the junior developers and working hand in hand (not literally) with the project manager and senior developer.

Skill Set:
LAMP:
PHP 1+ years commercial experience, PHP 5 experience a bonus, OOP, SOAP, API building, debugging and problem solving
Understanding of Linux management, Apache conf
PostgreSQL/MySQL 1+ years (postgres is a plus!)
Javascript (AJAX)
CMS experience a bonus

SERVERS: Understanding of Linux server models and technologies (eg. NFS)
OTHER EXPERIENCE: Java experience is a bonus
Pay is dependent on experience. 19K+
