Canvas Holidays has a vacancy advertised for a Web Co-ordinator to work within their busy marketing department, based at their Dunfermline office. This role assists the Web Manager, ensuring the content of the Camping Division’s websites are up-to-date and accurate, and assists with the creation and delivery of e-mails, microsites, online ads and partner content activity. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with proven hands-on experience of HTML & CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, JavaScript, ASP, SQL Server and MS Word, Excel & Access. You must also possess the ability to work in a pressurised environment, meeting strict deadlines and prioritising your own workload. Copywriting and proofreading skills, along with a creative eye for design and attention to detail, is also essential. The role is involved in website launches/refreshes, banner campaigns and interactive games. The prestigious national healthcare knowledge service, the NHS Scotland e-Library is looking to recruit an Information Officer to facilitate access to key information and learning resources for all NHS Scotland staff and partners. You will be working with a team to identify suitable resources for inclusion in the e-Library family of websites, cataloguing them to professional standards and assisting in training and support of other staff members in the use of the e-Library Metadata Management System. You will also assist in acceptability testing of enhancements to the e-Library user interfaces and administer access to LearnDirect courses within the new Virtual Learning Centre website. You should be educated to degree level with a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship / Information Science, and have recent exp of professional cataloguing and indexing. You should also be familiar with administering electronic information and learning resources — preferably within a healthcare context.
