Applications are invited for this fixed term appointment within the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
This post will have particular responsibility for both the development of the project website and the development of a new interface to allow users to interact with the RCAHMS online Canmore database.

Temporary appointment
RCAHMS is currently recruiting for a freelance web developer/designer to work in house on a temporary basis (4-8 weeks) for one day per week.

PhD Studentship award: the internet and the archive
RCAHMS – in conjunction with the School of Education, University of Edinburgh – have been awarded a PhD studentship by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council to investigate how the internet is changing the way users engage with, and learn from, the collections of cultural institutions. The studentship covers all UK fees, and includes an allowance of *12,940 per academic year, plus an additional annual *1,500 maintenance payment provided by the AHRC and RCAHMS.
