We were asked design the new site to highlight Data Discoveries' unique selling points and personalised service as well as promoting their products and expertise.

Key to the project was to increase the site's search engine rankings and to increase visitor numbers to product and registration pages.

We started with a re-assessment of the information architecture, developing content prioritization and integrating ‘Calls to action'.

Working with interactive wire framing tools and designing directly in the browser, we were able to test usability and ease of navigation throughout the pre-production process. Visual designs were created as the final layer to bring life to the content and functionality.

The site was built into the ExpressionEngine CMS (v2.0) to provide the data and document management required.

Working with specialist EE plug-in developers, we also integrated two different newsfeeds and developed the Goldmine CRM API to collect customer data automatically from the site.

The system is fully manageable by Data Discoveries giving them a platform to grow and develop on.

Within two weeks of launch the site had risen to the top pages of Google for the specified keyword terms and phrases. 

Next phases of work will see integration of software demonstration videos and a secure customer area.
