Harburn House
What we did
Harburn House is an elegant Georgian mansion set in a beautiful parkland 3,000 acre estate mid-way between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The owners have created a unique and exclusive ‘country house’ which they make available for private parties, corporate gatherings and weddings. Within this marketplace there is considerable competition, so our remit was to design a showcase site that would give a real feel for the style and exclusivity that Harburn House offers to its clients to attract customers from throughout the UK, USA and further afield
We started by drawing inspiration from their latest brochures, creating a site based on the idea of a "Guest Book", offering a tantalising glimpse of life at Harburn. As an extension to the site we’ve created flip page "photo albums" to showcase some of the wonderful photographs they had, and giving them an opportunity to change the images with the seasons.
