What we did

  • In Equilibrium is a leading stress management training company, providing courses and consultancy to private and public sector organisations throughout the UK. Operating from headquarters in Dunfermline, the company and base of nationwide consultants provide practical in-house courses, public training and conferences on all aspects of stress and well-being.

    With a client base of over 300 organisations, an email subscriber base of 15,000 and a wide range of courses, the company needed to extend the capabilities of their online presence to provide a central point of information and reference for their customers.

  • Our re-design focused on In-Equilibrium’s ethos of ‘growth and nurturing’ using colour and images to give a clear, calm, contemplative feeling to the site. Page structures were re-organised to reflect discussions on content hierarchy and usability, and page layouts employed the natural curve of bamboo grass to develop a consistent aesthetic throughout the site and inline with existing marketing materials.

  • The site was considerably expanded from its original size and the build benefitted from our own library of MODx CMS modules to enhance delivery of information. Work included a new navigational structure with expanding and collapsing submenus, a reclassification of main menu categories, consolidation of site downloads and resources and new groupings to make documents more accessible. Finally, subtle colour coding of site sections helped to give each area its own identity.
