Murray Stable
What we did
The Murray Stable is one of the largest and the most innovative of the eleven stables of advocates that form Faculty Services Limited, the service company of the Scottish bar. It was established in 1991 by Iain Murray, one of the most experienced clerks in Scotland. The stable represents more than 11 Queens Counsel and 40 junior counsel, offering a wide range of expertise and experience in all aspects of civil law.
The Murray Stable asked us to re-design the site to give them a more effective web presence and to streamline their internal administration. Specifically, they wanted the site to act as a key marketing tool that would assist their clients through the pre-instruction process of finding the right counsel for the job.
We developed a PHP/MySQL architecture to facilitate display of information on members, areas of practice and how to instruct counsel, and carried this into a content management system. Finally it was deemed important for the site to be fully accessible to all members of the public, so we incorporated a number of key strategies to ensure the coding tests up to the highest quality standard.
Most recently we have designed a new email newlsetter system for internal and external marketing.
