What we did
ScotlandIS is the trade body for software, creative services, telecommunications and IT in Scotland. It represents over 200 members from all ICT disciplines - small specialist businesses to global companies - and works to raise the profile of the industry nationally
The new site reflects the growth and prominence of industry overall and of ScotlandIS’s role in promoting and supporting the ICT community. The site provides key market intelligence, industry news, national and local events, and provides members with a wide range of services from legal and escrow assistance to opportunities for funding, collaboration and partnership.
The site was built in the MODx CMS with additional bespoke modules to enhance the Members area, events section and annual conference page for ScotSoft. The site offers news and events feeds for members to subscribe to, a monthly email newsletter, and access to technology research and potential business opportunities. Through a simple shopping cart and Paypal integration, members can now also pay their membership fees online.
With over 20,000 people directly employed in the IT industry in Scotland, ScotlandIS is looking to provide a unique business community resource that will foster a world class technology environment, engage members and work with ICT businesses large and small to achieve continuing growth and success.
