Ardana Bioscience is an Edinburgh based pharmaceutical company who develop and market innovative reproductive health products. Working within a $20 billion-plus market in reproductive medicine, Ardana is well poised to take advantage of its exclusive partnership with the HRSU at the Medical Research Council, Edinburgh,one of the leading academic centres of excellence in reproductive biology in the world.
In line with company growth and new product development, the management team wished to bring their website up-to-date to provide collaborators, investors and healthcare professionals with a more informative and dynamic site. They also wished to have a site in which they could control all of their content along with the ability to add new site sections as required. The remit also stipulated that the site should be built using ‘off-the-shelf' products.
Our solution was to develop a Macromedia Dreamweaver/Contribute template-based management system imbedded in a HTML/CSS architecture to ensure stability and technical integrity. Using CSS also improved accessibility and ensured fast downloading of the site.
We are now in second phase of development exploring interactive capabilities for the team to facilitate worldwide communication processes.
