Broadreach Ltd is an international executive retail business coaching company with offices in Edinburgh and London. Building on the strength of blue-chip client base (including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, Asda, Cable & Wireless and IBM), the company wanted to have a new site to reflect their continuing growth and leadership in this market. In addition, they hoped to take advantage of Director Malcolm Macgregor's brilliant academic research into business coaching which has gained global interest.
As Broadreach operates within the highly competitive coaching market, we started with mapping out the site architecture to give them the best platform to attain top search engine rankings. Carrying this approach on to the content, navigation and structure, our aim was to create an easily found, readily searched and effective platform for Broadreach's business services, coaching and consulting activities.
The new design reflects the nautical theme of the company's name but with a strong focus on the value and benefits to corporate teams and individuals of the company's services. This thinking extends to each site section with the addition of customer quotes and comments, and an extensive knowledge base of information delivered through the FAQ's section. Lastly, the Articles section was completed using the Textpattern content management system to give the company an easily updated and archivable area to highlight new developments in this industry. Within a week of launch, the site was listed with several online CSS galleries, billed as an exemplary site design and build.
