Center for Evidence-Based Education - CEBE
We welcome CEBE – the Center for Evidence-Based Education -our first US client! Based in Princeton, New Jersey. The Center acts as the headquarters for a key national network of educators who share a firm commitment to continuously improving, and wherever necessary transforming, educational practice to achieve the best in leadership and learning. One of CEBE’s primary concerns is with the standards and quality of teaching and learning, and how these can be transformed to ensure that all students, especially those living in historically disadvantaged communities, can achieve at high standards. Through a set of strategic partnerships, both national and international, CEBE involves the school systems and schools with which it works in leading-edge thinking and practice.
Phase I of the project involved designing and developing a bright, eye-catching and focused site to provide members with a central access point of information. As part of the build we also implemented a Textpattern content management system to allow staff to update events, news and articles on a daily basis. This was completed within a 3-week turnaround time, and better yet, snatched from the hands of Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’ winner from the US television show!
Phase II is now underway which will add a dynamic database back-end to the site, creating an online delivery channel of documentation, training tools and presentation materials. New sections will also provide CEBE members and associates with a national forum and secure area to share work, experiences and participate in on-going dialogue.
