Enquire Scotland
We have worked with Children in Scotland since 2001. Initially we designed an online questionnaire and game for their website aimed at encouraging participation within the 9-12 year old age group. As a result of this we were asked by Enquire, a division of Children in Scotland, whose focus is on providing a unique specialised information service to children with special educational needs (SEN) to create a new look & feel for their site aimed at students of 16+.
The site was built to meet all national and international accessibility requirements and conforms to W3C and Bobby approved standards. It was optimised to offer a text only version to meet a multiplicity of users' requirements. The site also offers access downloadable information packs, online feedback forms, useful links and current news.
We have recently completed a second phase development of the site to include full audio and visual format files that will exceed the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 requirements and provide a useful resource to a greater number of children with special needs. Staff will be fully trained in keeping site updated.
