The Faculty of Advocates
Net Resources is delighted to have worked with the Faculty to create a new, fully interactive site to meet the 600 + members and clients requirements. The site design and build follows an extensive consultative and pre-planning phase which engaged a broad spectrum of users to implement the most appropriate solution to their needs.
Built with accessible, valid HTML, CSS and an XML driven backend transformed via XSLT, the site offers a streamlined administration and content management system, full site search mechanism, continual traffic monitoring and provides access to a wide range of information, downloadable documents, application packs, press releases and newsletters. The site will be fully updateable and maintained by the Faculty Services IT team.
Accessibility was a key priority for the project, and a bespoke website management tool was developed by the Faculty team to ensure that not only did it meet WAI guidelines on the day of launch, but that it continues to do so throughout its lifetime.
