Girlguiding Scotland
Girlguiding Scotland is a long established non-profit organisation offering a wide range of activities to young girls and women throughout Scotland.
Our task was to design a site that met not only the needs of the organisation's management team but those of a geographically far-reaching group of adult volunteers and attract and increase traffic from their main clients: young people. The whole project required to be built in stages to meet budgetary restrictions.
The first phase is complete, providing a vibrant and engaging front-end backed by a simple system enabling designated admin and volunteers to refresh, update and maintain information. Simultaneously it also offers the highest level of security, data protection, accessibility, usability and scalability. Second phase work is now continuing to create an extensive intranet and secure link to share information with London HQ.
The site is managed by internal staff and has become a valuable asset to the organisation.
