North Berwick Golf Coast Web Portal
We are delighted to have completed the first phase of a community-wide portal for the North Berwick District and Business Association. The Association represents over 70 businesses and service providers located in the town and outlying areas. The site has been created within strict budget limitations but with full extensibility in mind – the intention is to grow the association and site to include the full range of East Lothian's costal businesses from Whitekirk to Longniddry. The portal will provide quick and easy access to information on North Berwick based businesses, services, shops, restaurants, pubs, accommodation, and leisure activities. The amenity, history and heritage and history of the area will provide the backdrop to attract visitors on many fronts. The site will also function as an excellent community resource offering an events calendar, public forum, notice board and access to information on local groups and associations.
The site has been built in HTML and Dreamweaver and provides both a simple content management system for text and graphics and a database of businesses all updateable by the NBDBA management team.
