Premier Commercial - where do we start? Well, probably about 16 months ago when our neighbour walked in the door and asked us if we could take over a website project that had been lurking in the dark recesses of a rival agency’s hands.
The PCI boss was disillusioned with everything they produced to date and no glow seemed in sight, but his original idea was still fresh. He simply wanted a dynamic site that would deliver online quotes for his clients (commercial insurance brokers) with greater efficiency and at a cheaper cost than could be found anywhere else. Ok.
We started with an analysis of how his clients and staff worked to frame the information and database architectures. Within a week or so we had design concepts completed and from there our DB maestro, Ian Morgan, had to construct the given logic into an orderly format that would calculate thousands of permeations, instantly. We then integrated a simple content management system and created an html email template to keep the marketing guys happy, and presto (one year later) we had it!
But the wait was worth it: within a week (and before any SEO kicked in) the site was selling high value quotes to multiple customers. Next phase is to automate every function from quote to document production so that the guys at PCI can really relax.
